Concrete Cutting: Vertical and Horizontal

Precise cuts, vertical or horizontal. Vertical and horizontal concrete cutting.

Sometimes you do not need concrete gone, you need a clean opening or a clean edge. Cutting lets you remove only what has to change. We do both vertical cutting through walls and horizontal cutting through slabs and flatwork.

Cutting gives you controlled edges instead of ragged breaks. That matters when you are tying new concrete into existing work or opening up a section for access or repairs.

Questions

Good to know.

What is the difference between vertical and horizontal cutting?

Vertical cutting goes through walls and upright concrete. Horizontal cutting goes through slabs and floors. We do both, and the right approach depends on your project.

Can you cut next to existing utilities?

It depends on what is below or inside the concrete. Locating utilities beforehand is important, and we can talk through that on the quote.

Do you remove the cut pieces?

We can, since we own loading equipment and dump trucks. We will confirm it in your scope.

Will I need a permit?

Cutting into structural concrete can require approval depending on your city. We can talk through it when we quote.
